Beijing to London Launch Events
25 and 26 April 2008
Emmanuel Centre, 9-23 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 3DW, UK

With the Summer Olympics happening this year in China and four years later in the UK, we are within a unique window of time. We can begin to work and pray together not only for what will happen in London in 2012, but also in the years leading up to that significant date. As an initiating step in this direction, we invite you to the Beijing to London Silk Roads challenge (2008-2012) launch event.
The Main Event, 26 April 2008
The main gathering is an all-day event on Saturday 26 April 2008.
The heart of the matter: Standing in London. The challenge and opportunities to go and serve China in 2008. The call to join in the Silk Roads journey back to London. Beginning to mobilise and serve together.
> Multi ethnic leaders, youth and families gathered.
> A stake in the ground to see the next wave of workers go out.
> Hearing from China-experienced leaders
> Preparing to serve
> Prayer

Leaders Gathering, 25 April 2008, 7pm-10pm
As a precursor to the Saturday event, we want to gather as multi ethnic UK leaders for an evening event.
The purpose of this gathering is threefold:
(1) Sharing heart. Meet each other, network and begin to share our hearts and desires for London 2012 and the run up to that.
(2) Communicating vision. How the story is beginning in China, and some Silk Roads opportunities leading up to London. Dale Kaufmann (Founder and President of King's Kids International) and Peter Wilburg (Harpenden B2L Team Director) will be sharing briefly before we pray.
(3) Prayer. Praying into the open door of China 2008, and allowing God to speak to us about the road leading up to London in 2012. Spiritually preparing the ground, and seeking His desires for how we can work together.
Who is to come?
- Whether you are a youth group leader, church or ministry leader, all are invited.
- Some international leaders will be attending as well.
Costs: the Leaders Gathering is free of charge.
Registration by 18 April 2008.
