Year For God moves to two intakes a year
Year For God (YFG), the year-long Gap Year course run by YWAM England, has moved to take two intakes a year. Until now, YFG has always run from August to August/September. Now, YFG will have one intake in February and a second in August.
YFG is a fully cross-cultural mission year in a dynamic setting. It has proved to be one of the most enduring and successful programmes ever set up by YWAM England it has been running now for almost 20 years, and has been coordinated from Holmsted Manor throughout that time. It has seen many workers equipped and sent out all over the world. Many of these workers have then stayed in full-time missionary work in some of the most far-flung places in the world, bringing the love of Jesus to some of the most needy and unreached people on earth.
YFG includes the lecture phase of a Discipleship Training School (DTS), plus an extended outreach placement.
